Common questions

Do I need prior experience with R or coding?+
No. The workshop is beginner-friendly and assumes no prior R experience.
What software do I need, and do I have to pay for it?+
R (4.3+) and RStudio, both free to download. If you need help installing them before the workshop, we'll help you get set up.
Who is this workshop for?+
Dentists, dental postgraduates (MDS/DM), medical clinicians, and researchers interested in using Google Trends and R for research.
What if I can't attend live, and will I get a certificate?+
You'll get unlimited access to the recordings to go through the material at your own pace, plus an e-certificate of completion.
What will I be able to do by the end, and does it only apply to dental topics?+
You'll be able to independently run a Google Trends analysis, pull and clean data in R, visualize it, and frame it as a publishable research question. The example used (lasers in periodontal/implant care) teaches the workflow, but the skills apply to any clinical topic or specialty.
Is this a one-time payment, and can I ask about my own research during the session?+
₹999 covers both sessions (4 hours total) with materials, recordings, and a certificate following the session. Live Q&A is open for you to bring your own topic or dataset questions.
